The working principle of the "waterjet" is to pressurize the water to more than 200MPa, and form a high-speed "water arrow" under the constraint of a nozzle with a small diameter (generally greater than 0.2mm), which can cut through soft materials such as wood, leather, rubber and so on.

If the abrasive is mixed in the "water arrow", it can cut through a variety of hard materials, such as rock, glass, steel plate and so on. It is combined with a microcomputer controlled workbench or manipulator to form a CNC machining system to meet special or complex surface machining requirements.

1, the cutting medium is only water and natural abrasive, the cutting process does not produce other substances, is a clean and environmentally friendly cutting process.

2, waterjet is cold cutting, cutting does not produce thermal effect, no deformation, no hanging slag, no ablation, will not change the physical and chemical properties of the material.

3, after cutting, the cutting surface is neat and smooth, similar to the effect of sandblasting, it will not cause any damage to the object to be cut during the cutting process, and it can play a cutting operation that many cutting tools cannot achieve. For tool steel and other easily quenched materials, or very high melting point materials such as molybdenum, tungsten, etc., can also be processed.

4, wide range of cutting, strong versatility, almost all materials can be cut. Includes metal, plastic, glass and ceramic, and is not limited in thickness.

5, small slit, coupled with the characteristics of cooling cutting, can improve the utilization of materials. Small rough edge, almost no rough edge is the biggest feature of water knife cutting. Parts can often be used directly.
